At last !- it looks like we will be able to save this historic building and put it to good use. Coastline Housing have worked with Cornwall Council to gain historic building and affordable housing grants to create a housing scheme.
Please visit the consultation on Monday 14th at the Rugby Club and show your support - imagine: the scaffolding gone, the building saved, the area cleaned up and providing housing and what has been an eyesore at the entrance to Hayle for so many years becomes a viable building once again.”

The Duck Races! 3pm Sunday 10th June 2018
Don't forget!!! The village of Angarrack is holding its Summer Duck Races (weather permitting!) on Sunday 10th June starting at 3pm underneath the viaduct on Riverside in Angarrack. The earlier time is to help the younger ones! This event is to help raise money for the famous Angarrack Christmas Lights.
There will be a number of races including ones especially for children as well as the main event for Champion Duck Racer!
Whilst not racing why not try the Bottle Stall, buy a raffle ticket and tuck in to the BBQ and delicious crepes!
All welcome.
Please note that the races are on Sunday this year - so that they don't clash with Royal Cornwall Show.
The duck race is a fun afternoon for all!
If you would like
to donate bottles for the bottle stall,
cakes or prizes for the races then please take them to Nikki, 29 Riverside or Nigel, 6 Carwinard Close (preferably
up to three days in advance) who will be very pleased to accept them!
If you have any small items suitable as prizes then please drop them off at 29 Riverside, or 6 Carwinard Close.
Likewise if you’d like to help with this event or future ones
then come along and let us know!
