One of Cornwall's north coast beaches had to be cordoned off after unexploded flares were found on the high tide line.
Lifeguards at Chapel Porth discovered the washed-up flares or time expired pyrotechnics (TEP) and called in the nearby St Agnes Coastguards Search and Rescue team for help.
The area of the beach where the unexploded TEP was discovered was then cordoned off while the team assessed the danger.

A coastal walker has put a warning out for fellow nature lovers to take care after she spotted a massive swarm of bees.
The bees, which formed a hive in a bush, were spotted by holidaymaker Jackie Turner on the path to the golf course near Fistral beach in Newquay.

A lifeboat station team has thanked the public for its cooperation after holidaymakers and residents were asked to move en masse from a favourite south east Cornwall beach.
