Several large potholes have appeared between the Celtic Glow wood field and the turning for Lancallen Farm, 11th February
At least 4 potholes have appeared on this stretch over the last month and are getting worse daily. They are big enough that when filled with water following rain, some serious damage could be done from unsuspecting (and suspecting!) drivers

Walk Wheel Cycle Trust are carrying out a study to create a safe, convenient walking and cycling route between Hayle and St Erth, two communities just 1.5km apart.
The aim of the project is to make it easier for people to walk, wheel or cycle between the two locations. This route will form part of National Cycle Network Route 3 and is an important step in Cornwall Council’s wider “Bay to Bay” ambition to link Hayle and Penzance.
We are asking local communities to tell us more about how they get around, and identify any issues or opportunities to make their current journeys safer.
Your feedback will help us to recommend improvements and select a suitable route option to take forward to further designs.
Survey open until: 15th March 2026
