News on re-opening ! Cannot wait to see you all again

GOOD NEWS BREWING In answer to the many enquires we have had; we anticipate re- opening the Inn on May 17" when eating and drinking inside the premises will be allowed. Whilst opening using outside only is permitted in April, we feel that with the vagaries of the weather, this may be too risky, involving us in the restocking of fresh food and beer and the uncertainties of scheduling hours for our team. The exact rules from the government for opening whenever are still being finalised, and we hope these will be clearer and perhaps also less onerous as time goes on. No doubt some covid precautions and social distancing will be in place for some time yet, so we will retain these measures to begin with to ensure that everyone is as safe as possible. Whilst closed, we have taken the opportunity to complete our new extension and this space has now been licenced, allowing us greater inside capacity as well as now having a new room to host functions in future without disrupting or closing the main part of the pub. Please keep an eye out for updated information on this page. as the situation may well yet change, if circumstances should alter, but at this moment we look forward to welcoming you back from mid- May.
